The Lion City Sentosa Escapade…

I’ve been trying for so many days to pen down my words but have failed impressively due to hectic schedule and also all the other things that comes along with ramzaan (terawih, buying food etc)… But as mentioned, I had another new prick who had to just come and spoil my day… Am not even going to bother talking bout things that are immaterial piece of shit, but since the mood is screwed up by folks from Bitchville, I might as well recall lovely memories that are much more precious…   So yeap, Friday was definitely remarkable, the interview went well and though the package seems to not be as exciting as some people hoo-haa-ed earlier, it still seems like a viable offer, but it will take two to tango so let’s not get too excited, premature excitement is not good!!!   As some were aware, I am the welcomed guest of Ms Saira J, who happens to be the daughter of my uncle’s friend (and we thought world’s big)… yes I successfully managed to evade the first sergi (you know, the meal befo

The Journey Onwards...

I'm extremely excited, Friday I'll be setting course for Singapore... The peeps at Orange (code-named in case negotiations goes awry)... So am keeping the excitement to the minimum too in regards to the interview as it's not a sealed deal... Anyway, my flight in would arrive at noon and the interview will be held at 4pm... After which, my evening is going to be filled with makan-makan and jalan-jalan... ;) I've been promised the side of Singapore that I've never have experienced before, and definitely some of the places mentioned in preview were rather unknown to me hahaha... To my host, Ms SJ, thank you in advance for allowing me an audience, am definitely enthralled and I am still laughing so loudly whenever I think of your 'chini murghi' statement... So here's a toast to a great evening ahead and moments of laughter and joy... To my readers, please bare with me on my unavailability to reply as I will be connected via my second Malaysian number and it&

Passbook with Love…

Image
I was clearing my facebook inbox and stumbled upon an old message which is truly profound… just thought of sharing with you folks as it’s definitely heart-warming…   Jocelyn married William this day. At the end of the wedding party, Jocelyn's mother gave her a newly opened bank saving passbook. With $1000 deposit amount. Mother: Jocelyn, take this passbook. Keep it as a record of your marriage life. When there's something happy and memorable that happens in your new life, put some money in. Write down what it's about next to the line. The more memorable the event is, the more money you can put in. I've done the first one for you today. Do the others with William. When you look back after years, you can know how much happiness you've had.'   Jocelyn shared this with William when getting home. They both thought it was a great idea and were anxious to know when the second deposit can be made. This was what they did after certain time: - 7

‘Datuk’ Shahrukh Khan Detained for 2 Hours in United States… So???

Image
Saw in the news today, media abuzz on SRK being held for 2 hours at Newark International Liberty Airport. This reminded me of my old article I posted sometime back… Datuk Shahrukh Khan.... maa ehhhhh!!!   I bet fans around the world are throwing tantrums on the detention incident and as expected, the Indian media and political figures are calling for an equal treatment to be accorded to US VIPs and public figures during their visit to India…   And I’m certain the media of Malaysia would be joining the bandwagon to express their ‘disappointment’ on Datuk being detained… Certainly criticism and some experts would express their takes on the issue…   Let me bring everyone (including avid fans) back to reality… US is a sovereign nation that upholds law & order above everything else… When there is an uproar on discrimation, US is a country that does not discriminate definitely because apart from the President who travels on Air Force One, EVERYONE else is subjected to the sa

The Beat of Heart…

Image
Meet my bro, Salim Khan… a 39 years old young guy… A loving wife, three lovely children and flourishing business… Life seems to be all set for the high rollin… He was diagnosed with palpitation many years back and since then, I would get a call in the middle of the night to drive him to the hospital…   Palpitation is the irregular beat of the heart, whether it’s fast paced, slow paced or just a mixture of fast and slow… The cardiologist has been baffled as his heart seems to function normally, well, it’s not lethal as long he seeks medical attention during the occurrence…   I have been accustomed to this palpitation, last week, I drove him to the hospital, as we were driving down, he mentioned that it was rather severe this time round and I comforted him saying all would be fine… and he did pass me his lawyer’s number in case of anything happening to him, I could help sort out all the pertaining matters…   We checked in to the emergency unit and after 3 gruelling hours, th

What’s your relationship status???

Image
This is written for Uncle Felix who has been asking the meaning of ‘It’s Complicated’ and ‘In An Open Relationship’ and everything in between… Well, I am not an expert sociologist but here’s my take…   See, the urbanites calls for choices, our coffee orders are a task on it’s own… There used to be a time that cars were only produced in one color: Black… and coffees were either Black or White! But it’s not chic enough, we need caramel or a hint of almond syrup and whether whip cream froth comes along or not is altogether a different choice… Getit?   Likewise, this trend spilled over in almost every aspect of our life… Choices upon choices… Dress colors? Hair colors? Type of pen? Heck, even our mobile phones are so complicated now, forget the functions, the mere outlook is confusing enough, flip, slide, clamshell, rotating, touchscreen, QWERTY keyboard… oh I can go on and on… but let’s not deviate… To the relationship shall we???   The olden days was easy, relationship statu

A Cuppa???

Image
So what makes a cup of coffee an indulgence??? What makes it one of the most sought after commodities of olden days and the craving of urbanites??? Is it the atmosphere, or the smell of perfectly roasted beans as you step in Starbucks Coffee???   Ask any coffee aficionado and he would be able to define it to you, after all, he/she has dedicated their life to the art of coffee perfection… the ability to differentiate different coffees from various regions by just the smell of it, and how carefully they craft the perfect brew…   It’s like a magic potion placed in cups of varied sizes; the right coffee beans roasted to perfection, coupled with conversation that is brewed with intelligence is a lethal combination...   For me, coffee has been the median of varied communications, from sealing business deals to a mere hang out cuppa with friends and everything in between…   No matter your drink, cappucino, ekspresso, latte or even the modern blended coffees of million combi

Love Aaj Kal- A Review

Image
So we went for the highly anticipated production galore of Illuminati Films after the success brought in by Kambakkht Ishq and there is only one way to describe the movie: FAIL!!!   Love Aaj Kal or it’s English translation would be ‘Love Nowadays’ or something of sort, the essence is the comparison of the traditional love and the ultra modern love…   Entertaining in the beginning, with the modern folks even throwing a ‘break-up party’ and parting sincerely and wishing each other all the best… This is where they introduced the traditional Romeo…   Ideologies clash where the modern guy can’t accept the fact that the traditional guy went hundreds of miles just to be able to catch a glimpse of the gal he adores, or how he pledged his love for her and took her as a soulmate even before meeting her…   And how the traditional guy just kept saying that modern love is not even love at all, there is no devotion and sincerity and how modern folks even do ‘it’ and then only ask th

An Apology...

Dearest Saira, I'm truly sorry for writing things that would really hurt, for a glimpse of a while, I forgot how we should treat those who really respect and treasure us... I perhaps am not even worthy to be forgiven but if you do see this, give me a buzz... I deleted all the contact details, from phone to email and I'm not in the vicinity of my pc right now... Bes yuhi, ek do baatein ho jaye, do tin mulakate ho jaye aur tin char lamhe hojaye... ;) Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless device via Vodafone Mobile.
