Love Aaj Kal- A Review

Love Aaj Kal So we went for the highly anticipated production galore of Illuminati Films after the success brought in by Kambakkht Ishq and there is only one way to describe the movie: FAIL!!!

Love Aaj Kal or it’s English translation would be ‘Love Nowadays’ or something of sort, the essence is the comparison of the traditional love and the ultra modern love…

Entertaining in the beginning, with the modern folks even throwing a ‘break-up party’ and parting sincerely and wishing each other all the best… This is where they introduced the traditional Romeo…

Ideologies clash where the modern guy can’t accept the fact that the traditional guy went hundreds of miles just to be able to catch a glimpse of the gal he adores, or how he pledged his love for her and took her as a soulmate even before meeting her…

And how the traditional guy just kept saying that modern love is not even love at all, there is no devotion and sincerity and how modern folks even do ‘it’ and then only ask the girl’s name…

That was interesting, as the audience was given a glimpse, you could see the old folks drifting to their younger days and the young audience laugh their ass off when the modern character says ‘but I’ve fallen in love 15 times, sire’ as response to the traditional character saying that ‘love happens only once’…

Then as all goes along just fine, they had to spoil it with doing the common hindi boo-boo… to forget reality and go into dreamland!!! The modern guy suddenly adopts the traditional ways and everything just goes downward for that movie from then… The moment of Uberfail!!!

I will not share more as some of you might not have the chance to view it, but if you ask me, don’t waste your money on it… It’s not worth it, but if you still insists, the songs might come as bonus but all in all, I only wish you ‘all the best’…
