Love of An Angel

Image
If the moon could sing praises, He would have told you about an angel, That descended from the heavens, To reside among the mortals.   They asked me a lover in lunacy, What brought me to a state I am, Astonished, awed and marvelled, I say there’s a turmoil in my heart   The heart of mine beats, Beats furiously at the sight of this angel, So fast that it felt like it could stop beating, From each beat it becomes harder to breathe   There she stands before me, And I kneel before the angel, Seeking a piece of love so heavenly, Wishing for a love that is everlasting   She looked into my eyes, Piercing thru the soul that is lonely, Her lovely tresses flowing like the wave of sea, Her lips like the blossoming flower of Eden   I placed a ring within her fingers for love is destiny, She gave up immortality for a lifetime with me, Let life witness that an everlasting love exists, When an immortal angel accepted the ...

The Median…

Image
Let’s not get confused with Meridian haha… just thought of glamourising the deadline that befalls me… this June was the deadline my dad has given…   Imagine this: an epic bollywood flick where the dad says “if by the mid of this year you have not found the girl that you would wanna marry, you will have to agree to at least visit (more like spy) these selections of mine”…   In equally epic manner, the son accepts the bet not knowing that he would not even realise time passing by and he’ll be blogging about what is to come in a blink of an eye!!!   So yeah, looks like I gotta adhere, I’m a man of my word, not that I’d be forced to marry any of these girls, but at least I gotta honour by ‘considering’…   All this cause it’s the community that we’re in, pretty small and closed knit, laced with traditions (rules) and it’s not easy to catch sight of the like-species in routine encounters.   Heck, what have I gotta lose, I gave my best shot, messed...

Wishful Love by Saira Khan

Image
A bleak morning brought a sunrise A sunrise that came with his existence A man from a distant land A man who is wrecked by the night long journey How fortunate may this day be That these eyes got the sight of him Tears that rolls on my cheek For happiness and the torturing travel he took for me People would often say That I will travel a thousand miles for you But here he lays Travelling a thousand miles without telling me Many men would lie words of love To have a woman give all her dignity But he is a man that stops me when I reach to kiss his lips Under the night sky filled with stars and noises of bustling quay I remember his words that made me his When he told me that he can’t as yet love me fully For the torment he went thru Will not he punish me for the mistake of another being For the mere person he may be a common man But for me he is an angel sent from above Luckiest person would be the Xxxxx of his...

Power Failure & Proposal

It’s 1.50AM on 14th Sep 09 as I began keying in on my laptop on the day that we sit in darkness… no, not metaphorically but because the main power plant caught fire about an hour ago causing major power outage in BM and part of Butterworth…   So I thought, what the heck, no way I’m gonna be able to sleep, why not write an entry on my Live Writer that I could post up later on… so here I am…   I have one idea to write on, seems like this week has been all about proposals, not the business kind, but the kind where the guy kneels in front of his love of his life and say ‘will you marry me?’…   It all started with an endeavour of a gentleman who was sitting down wondering on the dream proposal… then came about a phone conversation where just before ending the call, I said to Saira, ‘The senior Khan is saying we gotta leave for terawih now, but hei, I’ll give you a ring (call) sometime”, which is a statement you give to someone you recently met and it’s no surprise ...

This song has been on my mind every awakening hours… the melody and lyrics is just so captivating and I believe after hearing it, you would definitely agree with me…     Here’s the lyrics to the lovely song above:   Do you hear me, I'm talking to you Across the water across the deep blue ocean Under the open sky, oh my, baby I'm trying   Boy I hear you in my dreams I feel your whisper across the sea I keep you with me in my heart You make it easier when life gets hard Lucky I'm in love with my best friend Lucky to have been where I have been Lucky to be coming home again Ooohh ooooh oooh oooh ooh ooh ooh ooh They don't know how long it takes Waiting for a love like this Every time we say goodbye I wish we had one more kiss I'll wait for you I promise you, I will Lucky I'm in love with my best friend Lucky to have been where I have been Lucky to be coming home again L...

Passbook with Love…

Image
I was clearing my facebook inbox and stumbled upon an old message which is truly profound… just thought of sharing with you folks as it’s definitely heart-warming…   Jocelyn married William this day. At the end of the wedding party, Jocelyn's mother gave her a newly opened bank saving passbook. With $1000 deposit amount. Mother: Jocelyn, take this passbook. Keep it as a record of your marriage life. When there's something happy and memorable that happens in your new life, put some money in. Write down what it's about next to the line. The more memorable the event is, the more money you can put in. I've done the first one for you today. Do the others with William. When you look back after years, you can know how much happiness you've had.'   Jocelyn shared this with William when getting home. They both thought it was a great idea and were anxious to know when the second deposit can be made. This was what they did after certain time: - 7...
